Medina Palms, which was voted the best hotel in Kenya in the TripAdvisor Travellers' Choice Awards, received its certificate from TripAdvisor Africa manager Chad Shiver. Below is the story on K24 TV.

Murithi Ndegwa, managing director of the Kenya Tourism Board, attended the award ceremony. He says: "With increased frequencies, especially by the regional carriers coming into Malindi, coming into Mombasa, we are obviously seeing a situation whereby there is going to be much more traffic coming in – not just from the domestic market, but also from the regional markets."
