Coconut Bliss Balls

Using ingredients grown naturally in Watamu such as Coconut and Cashew Nuts, these balls are ideal for snacks or desserts and are a popular choice at the beautiful Watamu Treehouse. At the Treehouse, the kitchen produces food that is unrefined, sugar and wheat free and yet tastes delicious. One of their most popular desserts are these Coconut Bliss Balls, from the Leafy Greens Cookbook. Easy to make and great for you- try making these little balls of bliss yourself.


  • 1.5 Cups Raw Almonds
  • Half Cup Macadamia Nuts, Raw
  • Half cup Raisins, soaked in water for 10 minutes
  • Half Cup Coconut Flakes or grated coconut
  • Half Cup of Goji Berries
  • 1 Tablespoon Tahini
  • 1 Tablespoon Cashew Butter
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla powder – grated from vanilla pods
  • Pinch of salt



  1. Process tall of the ingredients in a food processor until it forms a chunky mixture
  2. Roll into 2-3 cm round balls and coat with desiccated coconut
  3. These can last up to a month in the freezer
